Denise O’Dunn fell in love with yoga at 13. She was already drawing and dreaming of being an illustrator. Her journey includes being one of the earliest certified yoga teachers in Florida; the founder and lead teacher of the Florida Academy of Ayurveda; a co-founder of the Ayurveda Association of Florida; a mom and a Gray-Ga.

Denise has been a featured speaker at the Patel Center of the University of South Florida Symposium of International Native Medicine. She has traveled internationally to address professional conferences and healing retreats.

Denise has always had a deep connection to the rhythms of nature, and when she isn’t crafting stories, teaching Ayurveda or guiding Yoga classes, you'll find her strolling the forest trails, drawing inspiration from the whispers of the wind and the intelligence of the trees. She believes that nature holds the key to balance and well-being and that key is a perfect fit for the wisdom of Ayurveda.

With boundless enthusiasm for Ayurveda, Denise strives to inspire her students and clients to embrace their innate perfection and celebrate their unique qualities. Now, Denise introduces children to the enchanting world of Ayurveda. Ayurveda Says I Am Perfectly Me!, combines colorful illustrations with timeless Ayurvedic principles, taking young readers on a delightful journey of self-acceptance and understanding.
